Rooke Sails is the largest, most comprehensive sailing dealership in the Mid-South. We have been in continuous operation under one ownership since 1969.
We offer new and pre-sailed boats, sails, hardware, parts, and accessories. One design sailboat cover manufacture, sailcover/bimini manufacture and sail repair, sailboat hull painting and repair are among our stable of complete services to the sailing community.
Yacht Hauling and Transport:
Rooke Sails’ truck, equipped with sign crane, and hydraulic trailer enable us to launch and retrieve from freshwater and do complete re-rig and de-rig of sailboats (up to 20,000 pounds) generally without dependence on marina facilities. We transport to home, office, or your freshwater site and usually offload without crane rental. We transport, and arrange transport, for sailboats 22′ to 38′ (up to 20,000lbs) to and from home and port.
Sailboat Painting and Repair:
Sailboat painting and repainting, Imron, and all forms of sailboat repair. Blister repair using the
West System. Roller-applied or sprayed anti-fouling bottom paint.
Cover Manufacturer and Repair:
One Design Cover Manufacturers since 1969 for more than 20 classes – Thistle, Lightning, Snipe, Hobie 16, Hobie 17, Hobie 18, MC Scow, Coronado 15, Flying Scot, Laser, Sunfish, Holder, Vanguard 15 and more. Custom acrylic canvas works for many Beneateau, Catalina, Hunter and other sailboats on pattern.
